Crafting Dragon Eggs?

Do you think Dragon Eggs should be craftable since the Ender Dragon is already long-gone?

Crafting Dragon Eggs? Empty Crafting Dragon Eggs?

As it turns out, Xeno's Reliquary enables one to craft an Ender Dragon Egg out of 8 blocks of diamond and a block of gold, somehow I believe related to the Tome of Alkahest which is relatively expensive in and of itself. What do you all think about this? Personally, I'm for it, but the amount of energy you can get from the egg is kind of absurd and could be seen as somewhat game-breaking to some. If there's a way to nerf that, I think crafting the eggs would be fair, but then again maybe it's so horribly broken that a mod will just say no to the whole thing?

The power it makes is not absurdly high its just nearly free besides the big expense of the machine and egg. The power comes at a cost of flux being released so much that no node can keep up. Also if they havent enabled multiple dragon eggs in the gregtech config then if someelse makes a siphon and hooks there egg up to it, both eggs and siphons explode.

We've disabled the crafting of the tome for this reason. We have the idea of regenerating The End like we will do to the Twilight after a certain amount of time so people can still obtain ender eggs. We want to allow multiple egg siphoner's (at the output of 64 eu/t instead of 128), but only allowing the eggs to be obtained from the ender dragon.

Sounds like a plan. Would keep it a novelty and even, I bet, cause people to fight over the privilege of owning one. Would certainly keep things interesting.

Speaking of, when will we be doing the first regeneration of the Twilight at least? I'd like to try for some more boss heads.

At the moment the Tome of Alkahest is disabled and cannot be crafted. Could we make it instead so you just can't craft the ender dragon egg? A lot of the rest of the stuff the tome can do are useful. And I really don't want to have to farm the wither.
